Dorri Butler Smith grew up in Cayce-West Columbia and graduated from Airport High School. She is a Cum Laude graduate of Columbia College with a BA in Business Administration and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Columbia International University Seminary & School of Missions with a Master of Divinity degree specializing in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Formation. She also graduated from the Clinical Pastoral Education program at Palmetto Health, a certification program with the Association of Professional Chaplains.
Dorri is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor with the American Association of Christian Counselors. In addition to the AACC, she is a member of the Association of Marriage & Family Ministries, the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, the Addiction Studies Institute, and the Christian Association for Psychological Studies.
Dorri is an ordained pastor with The Harvest Church in Lexington and has also received ecclesiastical endorsement through the Coalition of Spirit-Filled Churches.
She is married to Dr. Jarrell Smith of Lexington. They have four sons (one who already lives with Jesus), one daughter, three daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, two precious grandsons, and two beautiful granddaughters. They also have two beautiful Shih Tzu fur babies, Kaci and Izzy.
During her free time, Dorri enjoys playing with her grandchildren, getting dirty working in her yard, reading, and watching Gamecock football.
